Annual events
In May, we have Falkirk Writers Circle annual seminar, this is an event that sees professional and amateur writers from all over the country have their work judged
Also, again this year the hub will be powering the flowers by following the No Mow May Campaign
Monthly events
We are a polling station on May 7, 2026, this coincides with our new monthly event launch, The Gathering Music event; however, your Hub is luckily a large community space, we can be a polling station and still have plenty of space, the only groups that cant use the hub that day are the line dancers and the highland dancers as they need the Muckle halls wooden floor, we will still hold plenty other events on that same day. For example -
On may the 7th, we also have open book, monthly creative writing group
On Wednesday, May 13, we will have our monthly Hub meeting, with part of it being our quarterly members' formal update
The 17th is the tea talk and tech afternoon
The 20th is polmont hillwalking club
Monday the 25th is Polmont Community Council's monthly meeting
Every month, we have two of our three elected councillors hold surgeries at the hub. Gordon Forest will be holding his on the 7th, and Anne Hannah will be on the 14th
We also have the monthly tinnitus support group
Weekly events
Monday - Braveheart top toes Foot Clinic, mainly music toddlers is also on Monday mornings at the same time, then we have the bridge club and Carpet bowls in the afternoon with dance dreams And Sheila's aerobics ending the day
Tuesday - we have morning yoga with Lindsay and beginners Tai Chi, we have the afternoon crafting textile group, and the tea dance, then sewing with Stella, we have karate early evening, and Falkirk Writers' Circle, Chair Yoga returns this month from Suzy's Maternity leave. She also has the stretch your body and mind with Suzy on Tuesdays
Wednesday - stretch and tone in the morning and Polmont Probus, then Cardnutz and judo
Thursday - in the morning, we have two line dancing classes held in oor Muckle Hall. By no angels in the morning, we have slice of art and hobbycraft in the afternoon, then Craig's Corner Therapy Group, walking football and the Highland Dancers

One of events
On May 9, we will have our Garden Open Day and "Help Us Grow Stuff" event. Remember, these gatherings are essential opportunities for public engagement, allowing everyone to find out what’s happening and grow together for the greater good. We are making this a one-of event, but the group who are organising it, Land In Our Hands, may want to make it monthly with a weekly smaller get togethers hoped to start
Short and long term courses and classes
On Saturday, the 9th, we have baby first aid again. They have been holding first aid courses on Saturdays for around a year now
On Tuesday, May 12, we will kick off our "Step into Summer: Thriving, Anxiety, and Wellbeing" course—a five-week group course focused on mental health and wellbeing.
On the 23rd, we have living Yoga
